AGM For Rotary Club of Ngāmotu
Chaired by Past President Sally Morch in President Jan's absence
Sally presented the Presidents annual report for the year 2021/22
Secretary Michael Archer took the minutes which will be available to members at a later date.
Michael proposed changes to the Club Bylaws which he had prepared modelled on New Plymouth West Bylaws.
The amendments put more emphasis in the Bylaws on the Club being for the members not the Board and guidelines for grants etc were included.
A financial report was presented by treasurer David Gibson which had not been reviewed by Shelly Scott (My Accountant)
It was felt that more information was needed to clearly provide:
Member account balances as at 30th June 2022

Unless advised otherwise suggest that volunteers come at 9.30-10.00am

Parting Thought: Sally Morch
A captain notices a light in the distance, on a collision course with his ship. He turns on his signal lamp and sends: 'Change your course, 10 degrees West"
The light signals back, "change yours, 10 degrees east"
The captain gets a little annoyed.he signals, "i'm a US navy Captain. You must change your
course , sir"
The light signals back, "I'm a Seaman First Class. You must change your courses, sir"
Now the Captain is mad. He signals, "i'm an aircraft carrier. I'm not changing my course"
The light signals back a final message, "I'm a lighthouse. Your call"
Moral: No matter how high a position you hold- Listen to Others.
