95th Birthday for The Rotary Club of Ngāmotu Celebration:(10th June) Marked by Gary Brown and Brian Phelan cutting a cake donated by Sally
Raffle: Many winners with some wonderful gifts some of which were sponsored.
$300.00 was raised to go to the Wellington Regional Children's Hospital Whanau Room.
Fines: Conducted by Des Friedrich with questions on a range of current issues including COVD 19 and recent Super Rugby games.

President David Lusk's Annual Report :2019/20
David mentioned that he was encouraged by Des and Murray to take on the role, promising to support him in his year. Unfortunately Murray subsequently mentioned he was travelling overseas in June and July and would he mind taking over in May! Then Des took up a job in Inner Mongolia! So much for support guys. We were there in spirit David!!
David thanked the Board for their support during the year particularly Wally Garrett.
Highlights and challenges for the year were: The hosting and farewelling of Camilla Cattini (IYE student from Italy 2018/19) special thanks particularly to Jan Dempsey for mentoring and host families, social nights hosted by club members with thanks, Fundraising Annual golf tournament with St Johns being the major recipient (great support from St Johns staff), interesting speaker nights, attendance at the District Conference in Whanganui, Oceania Zone conference with Raewyn in Christchurch (highlight meeting World President of RI Mark Maloney), interruption by COVID 19 pandemic forcing use of Zoom to maintain contact(David could only do so by telephone), reconnecting with Tilde Skrealid( IYE student from Sweden 2017/18) via zoom.
Induction of Sally Morch as incoming President
Sally who is from Dunedin, acknowledged her Genealogy in Maori.
She thanked her supporting Whanau Sue(her daughter) and Mike Vennik and friend Jackie Mayne for their attendance.
She also acknowledged her siblings in Australia; Chris, Jo and Carl who were watching live via zoom.
Her late husband Evan joined our club on 1st April 1986 and encouraged her to take on roles within Rotary.
She mentioned that there were opportunities for our club to help those in need effected by COVID 19 not just monetarily but providing physical help
Sally thanked David for his year as President on behalf of the club. Also acknowledged the work that Raewyn has done supporting David with the presentation of flowers.
