Our final meeting of 2025 was a social one in the form of a Christmas meal and celebration.
Despite this, President Murray held his customary ruthless Fines session. Coupled with a very successful raffle, this meant we all concluded the evening not only with light hearts but also light pockets!
Entertainment was provided by Peter Galvin, known to many of us for his wide ranging musical talents. He was not only extremely entertaining but also educated us all on the Northumbrian pipes - a lesser known relative of the traditional bagpipes. His set was concluded by a round the world trip courtesy of his accordion playing which had us all clapping and tapping along.
President Murray rounded off the evening by summing up our successful Centenary Year and Project and looking forward to our plans and challenges next year. One project already put in place through Taylor is the opportunity for club members to help out at On The House once a month - she will provide more information after the holidays.
A very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all members, their friends and families!
Our first meeting of 2026 will be a social gathering on 26 January. More information to follow.
A complete list of meeting dates for 2026 will be circulated in January.
